2010 SALES FIGURES Final numbers for 2010 show there were 20,250 homes sold in our region, according to figures provided by the Greater Nashville Association of REALTORS. Compared to the prior year, the final figures are down 4.4 percent. There were 21,183 closings in 2009. It is helpful to note that the number of closings in December of 2010 actually exceeds the number in December of 2008, which was not distorted by the tax credit-driven activity. It is also good to see the residential median price remain stable and even show an increase.
