Dear Friends:
The real estate market has been making a rebound for the last couple years. Many homeowners who considered moving felt the market was too uncertain, and many of us have been waiting it out. As a real estate professional, I’m thrilled to report a positive outlook for those who are thinking about selling.
Here are some stats:
-According to Realtor.com May home inventories which represent the available number of homes for sale are down 5.8 percent from May 2013.
-According to the National Association of Realtors, national home sales rose 4.9 percent in May from April. The 4.9 percent month-over-month gain in May was the highest monthly rise since August 2011
-Additionally the National Association for Realtors reported that single family home prices nationwide are 4.9 percent higher in May 2014 than May 2013.
I am sharing this information with you because inventory in Nashville & Brentwood is low, and I am hearing from agents and prospective buyers that they just can’t find what they are looking for.
